Buenos Aires, January 20 (NA) – A 15-year-old minor died in Mar del Plata after being hospitalized for a month following a savage attack he received last December 23. According to what the Argentine News Agency was able to find out, the victim identified as Sebastián Morua was admitted to the Interzonal General de Agudos Hospital (HIGA), where he had been admitted with a severe skull trauma. Despite having undergone surgical interventions, going through a period of coma and showing slight improvement upon waking, his condition worsened and he died in the last hours due to the injuries sustained. The victim had been injured during a violent episode that occurred last December 23 in the Mar del Plata neighborhood of San Patricio, when a family gathering ended in a fight that included shots and a subsequent attack on the home. A birthday party was taking place there, in which one of the family members and a person who arrived at the place had a brawl that ended up involving several people, including family members and neighbors. The situation became increasingly violent and led to fistfights between two groups, increasing the tension even more when one of them returned armed and fired several shots at the place, with one of the projectiles hitting Morua, who had already been beaten during the fight.
